Management - Tasks

  1. Where I can see tasks in the system?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Tasks" button

    4. Here you can see all your tasks you have

  2. How to filter sites in tasks?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Tasks" button

    4. Select the company you want to see

    5. At the top of the table, next to the company name, there is a "Filter by Site and phones" button

    6. As you click on that, a drill down list will be open where you can choose from

  3. How to filter tasks by task type?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Tasks" button

    4. Select the company you want to see

    5. At the top of the table, next to the company name, there is a "Filter by Task Type" button

    6. As you click on that, a drill down list will be open where you can choose from

  4. How to change the company in tasks management?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Tasks" button

    4. Select the company you want to see

    5. At the top of the table, you can see the current company name

    6. As you click on the company name, a drill down list will be open where you can choose from

  5. How to add task to a site in the task management?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Tasks" button

    4. Select the company you want to see

    5. Choose the time on the calendar and click on the calendar

    6. As you click on the calendar, a task edit window will be open

    7. You need to fill all the require

    8. When finished editing, click on "Save" at the window

  6. How to edit task in the task management?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Tasks" button

    4. Select the company you want to see

    5. Click on the tasks you want to edit and an edit window will be open

    6. When finished editing, click on "Save" at the window

  7. How to delete a task in the task management?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Tasks" button

    4. Select the company you want to see

    5. Click on the tasks you want to delete and an edit window will be open

    6. At the bottom of the window, at the left side there is a "Delete" button

    7. As you click on that, the tasks will be deleted


Management - Users

  1. Where I can see the EZGuard users?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Here you can see all your users you have

  2. Where I can see the inactive users?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Under the title "Active" click on "Yes" and a drill down list will be open

    5. Choose "No" to see inactive users or "All" to see active and inactive users

  3. Where I can see the role (permissions level) of a user?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Under the column "Role" you can see the permission level

  4. Where I can see to which company and site the user is assign to?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Under the column "Assignments" you can see the company and sites

  5. Where I can see when the user was created?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Under the column "Created" you can see the date and time that the user was created

  6. Where I can see when was the last time that the user logged in?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Under the column "Last Login" you can see the last date and time that the user logged in

  7. Where I can see the user timezone?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Under the column "Timezone"

  8. Where I can see the user Language?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Under the column "Language"

  9. How to export users' data?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. At the top right corner, there is an "Export Data" button

    5. As you click on that, you can choose the "Excel – Rae Data"

    6. As you click on that, an excel file will be downloaded to your "Download" folder in your computer

  10. How to edit a user?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Next to the user's name, there is an "Edit" button

    5. As you click on that, an edit page will be open

    6. When finished editing. Click on "Save" at the bottom of the page

  11. How to add new user?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. At the top right corner, there is an "+Add" button

    5. As you click on that, an edit page will be open

    6. When finished, click on "Save" at the bottom of the page

  12. How to change an email address for user?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Next to the user's name, there is an "Edit" button

    5. As you click on that, an edit page will be open

    6. Under the title "User Details" there is an "Email Address" title

    7. Next to the email address, there is a "Change" button

    8. As you click on that, you can change the email address

    9. When finished editing, click on "Save" at the bottom of the page

  13. How to inactive a user?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Next to the user's name, there is an "Edit" button

    5. As you click on that, an edit page will be open

    6. Under the title "User Details" there is an "Active" title with switch button

    7. Turn the switch on / off

    8. When finished editing, click on "Save" at the bottom of the page

  14. How to change the user's details?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Next to the user's name, there is an "Edit" button

    5. As you click on that, an edit page will be open

    6. Under the title "User Details" you can change that first name, last name and phone number

    7. When finished editing, click on "Save" at the bottom of the page

  15. How to change the language for a user?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Next to the user's name, there is an "Edit" button

    5. As you click on that, an edit page will be open

    6. Under the title "User Details" there is a "Language" title where you can change the language

    7. When finished editing, click on "Save" at the bottom of the page

  16. How to change the time zone settings for a user?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Next to the user's name, there is an "Edit" button

    5. As you click on that, an edit page will be open

    6. Under the title "User Details" there is a "Timezone" title where you can change the time zone settings

    7. When finished editing, click on "Save" at the bottom of the page

  17. How to set a summary event log report for a user?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Next to the user's name, there is an "Edit" button

    5. As you click on that, an edit page will be open

    6. Under the title "User Details" there is a "Summary Event Log Report" title with switch button

    7. Turn the switch on / off

    8. When finished editing, click on "Save" at the bottom of the page

  18. How to set new password for a user?

    1. Note – only a user with high level of permission can change user password. If a user forgot his password, he can change by click on "Forgot password" on the log in page

    2. Enter EZGuard website

    3. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    4. Choose "Users" button

    5. Next to the user's name, there is an "Edit" button

    6. As you click on that, an edit page will be open

    7. Under the title "Password Change" there is a "Set New Password" title

    8. There you can set new password for the user

    9. When finished editing, click on "Save" at the bottom of the page

  19. How to add a logo for a user?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Next to the user's name, there is an "Edit" button

    5. As you click on that, an edit page will be open

    6. Under the title "User logo" there is a "Select Image" button

    7. As you click on that, you can upload a new image

    8. When finished editing, click on "Save" at the bottom of the page

  20. How to change the user role (permission level)?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Next to the user's name, there is an "Edit" button

    5. As you click on that, an edit page will be open

    6. Under the title "Role" you have a drill down list to choose from

      1. Report only - Can only get reports

      2. Viewer - Can view reports, sites and phones (can't edit)

      3. Operator – can see reports, panic alert. Site and phone in view only mode

      4. Supervisor – can view reports, panic alert and edit sites and phones. Can also edit and add users as operator level

      5. Editor – Can view reports, add and edit sites, phones, forms and users

      6. Administrator - Can view reports, add and edit sites, phones, forms, users and licenses

    7. When finished editing, click on "Save" at the bottom of the page

  21. How to set / change the user's assignments to sites?

    1. Enter EZGuard website

    2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

    3. Choose "Users" button

    4. Next to the user's name, there is an "Edit" button

    5. As you click on that, an edit page will be open

    6. Under the title "Assignments" you can see the list of the companies

    7. As you click on the companies you can see the sites under it

    8. Mark / unmark the checkbox next to the company / site name to assign / unassign to them

    9. When finished editing, click on "Save" at the bottom of the page


Management - Licenses


1. How to add a new license?

1.1. To order a new EZGuard license you need to contact as for new purchase and we will add for you a new license

2. How to edit a license?

2.1. Enter EZGuard website

2.2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

2.3. Choose "Licenses" button

2.4. Next to the license name, there is an "Edit" button

2.5. As you click on that, an edit page will be open

2.6. When finished editing, click on "Save" at the bottom of the page

3. Where can I see if the license is vacant?

3.1. Enter EZGuard website

3.2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

3.3. Choose "Licenses" button

3.4. Under the column "Statues" you can see if the license is in use or vacant

3.5. You can change the filter under the "Status" title by clicking on "Vacant, IN.." and change the filter

4. Where can I see the date that the license was created?

4.1. Enter EZGuard website

4.2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

4.3. Choose "Licenses" button

4.4. Under the column "Created"

5. Where can I see to which company the license assigns to?

6. Where can I see to which Site the license assigns to?

8. Where can I see when was the last activity of the license?

10. Where can I see the latest invoice for a license?

10.1. Enter EZGuard website

10.4. Under the column "Latest Invoice" – Green "v" sign = paid, orange "X" sign = not paid, red mark= not paid over 3 months

11. Where can I see the renewal status?

11.1. Enter EZGuard website

11.2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

11.3. Choose "Licenses" button

11.4. Under the column "Renewal Status"

12. How to export license data?

12.1. Enter EZGuard website

12.2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

12.3. Choose "Licenses" button

12.4. At the top right corner, there is an "Export data" button

12.5. As you click on that, you can choose "Excel – Raw Data"

12.6. As you click on that, an excel file will be downloaded to your download folder in your computer

13. How to change the license assignment ?

13.1. Enter EZGuard website

13.2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

13.3. Choose "Licenses" button

13.4. Next to the license name, there is an "Edit" button

13.5. As you click on that, an edit page will be open

13.6. Under the title "General Details", there is a button "Change Assignment"

13.7. Note – you can not change a license assignment if it I in use. Make sure to disconnect it firs

14. Where can I see the license history?

14.1. Enter EZGuard website

14.2. In the menu on the left side, scroll to the Management menu

14.3. Choose "Licenses" button

14.4. Next to the license name, there is an "Edit" button

14.5. As you click on that, an edit page will be open

14.6. Under the title "License History" you can see the license history
